Plant also commented on what is in store for the upcoming performance.
"My set is quite different from anything I've ever done before, as I'll be performing with Beth [Neilson Chapman] and a full choir onstage."
Chapman is an American singer-songwriter. She will perform at the event with Plant and the London Oriana Choir.
VIP tickets to the charity show, which are available from Soundandvisionebay.com, will enable fans to meet performers. Plant fans can also bid on tickets through E-Bay.

The space rock trio performed its version of the classic album during a New Year's Eve show in their native Oklahoma. The studio version of the Lips' Dark Side of the Moon has since been released as a digital download.
"I don't think it'll be that much of a stretch to think Friday night at 2:30 in the morning (sic) at Bonnaroo would be that much different than being in Oklahoma City on New Year's Eve," Coyne said. "I'm sure people will be having their own party while we play this space rock, or whatever. In that sense it's perfect for that."
Bonnaroo is set for June 10-13 in Manchester, Tennessee. Tickets go on sale at 12 PM Eastern Time on February 9.
