We maintain clusters of servers in several locations: our audio stream sources and control systems are located at a data center in the Netherlands, Amsterdam and The Hague; our stream distribution, web & database database servers are in USA, Illinois, Chicago; we have a fully redundant library backup & backup stream source in the Netherlands, The Hague;
the "master control system" for the station (aka Johan's Macbook Pro) is here in the Netherlands (or wherever we happen to be); and we maintain stream servers in the Netherlands, Amsterdam.
We use professional-grade audio equipment and computer automation software and have redundant systems and Internet connections to reduce downtime and outages.
